Karachi: (RightNow) A significant decrease in gold prices has been recorded in Pakistan, with the price per tola dropping by Rs 4,000.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price per tola of gold has decreased by Rs 4,000, bringing it to Rs 449,336. The price of 10 grams of gold has fallen by Rs 3,429, reaching Rs 385,233.

Officials state that there has been no change in the local market price of silver per tola, which remains at Rs 6,802.

This drop in gold prices is good news for consumers, as it is expected to increase jewelry purchases.

It is noteworthy that in the global bullion market, the price of gold per ounce has also decreased by $40, reaching $4,268.
