Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistan strongly condemns the Houthi drone attack on the Saudi city of Taif. The Foreign Minister expresses full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its people.

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated on social media that a Yemeni citizen was killed and a Saudi citizen, along with a Pakistani citizen, was injured in the attack. The condition of the Pakistani citizen is critical.

According to Saudi Civil Defense, the drone was destroyed in the air, but debris fell on populated areas, causing casualties and damage to buildings and vehicles.

It is noted that Houthi attacks are increasing in various regions of Saudi Arabia. Recent attacks have targeted Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif.

It is important to note that tensions between the Houthi group and Saudi-backed forces in Yemen are escalating. Houthi attacks and Saudi retaliatory actions continue.
