Oil prices fall for the third day amid Middle East conflict, with supply unaffected.
London: (RightNow). Oil prices in the global market have decreased for the third consecutive day despite ongoing conflict in the Middle East. This decline is attributed to the expectation of no major disruptions.
According to Reuters, Brent crude oil price fell by $1.01 to $103.77 per barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude also dropped by $1.03, reaching $100.88 per barrel.
Experts state that the decline in oil prices is due to the availability of alternative routes for oil supply from the Middle East. These routes have eased pressure on global supply.
Meanwhile, fresh attacks between Saudi Arabia and Iran-backed Houthis have raised concerns. However, investors have not given much importance to these attacks, considering the oil supply secure.
It is important to note that ongoing tensions in the Middle East, the rivalry between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis, and the availability of alternative routes could impact oil prices.
