Nagoya: (RightNow) The opening ceremony of the Asian Games will be held tomorrow in Nagoya, Japan. The Pakistani contingent will be led by Fatima Sana and Noor Zaman.

A total of over 17,000 athletes from 45 countries are participating in these games. The Pakistani team includes 230 athletes and officials.

These games will continue until June 4. The Pakistani contingent will compete for medals in 23 sports.

In the previous Asian Games, Pakistan won one silver and two bronze medals. These games are crucial for the country.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan faced defeat in soft tennis, but the women’s cricket team has reached the semi-finals. The squash team has also departed for Japan.
