China: (RightNow) Li Guo Yu, a 63-year-old from Sichuan province, China, has reunited with his family after decades. In 1987, at the age of 24, Li moved to Guangzhou province in search of better job opportunities.

In 1997, he returned home but couldn’t meet his brothers as they were working elsewhere. He left a phone number but couldn’t establish contact.

In 1998, Li moved to Harbin in Heilongjiang province, where he met hotel owner Lin. After the hotel closed, Lin offered him a caretaker job at a mountain house.

In 2026, Lin visited the house and found Li there. She immediately helped him reunite with his brothers.

It is noteworthy that Li’s ID card expired in 2005, and due to lack of resources, he couldn’t renew it in his area.
