Beijing: (RightNow) China’s video-sharing platform Bilibili is accelerating efforts to expand its global presence. Recognized as an alternative to YouTube, the platform is offering new earning opportunities for content creators.

Reports indicate Bilibili is offering creators approximately $0.70 per thousand views. However, this amount is yet to be officially confirmed and should not be considered final compensation.

Bilibili has made several changes to its international version to make the platform easier for foreign users. Registration has been simplified, and the mandatory identity verification requirement has been removed.

Bilibili’s global expansion has also gained attention on social media. A claim in Spanish stated that Bilibili offers better compensation to creators than YouTube.

It is noteworthy that Bilibili started operations in 2009 and gained popularity among young users in China. The company now has over 350 million monthly active users.
