Islamabad: (RightNow) The federal government has announced a reduction in petroleum product prices. OGRA has issued a notification, reducing petrol prices by Rs 4.08 per liter.

The new petrol price is set at Rs 331.95 per liter, while high-speed diesel is reduced by Rs 2.45 per liter. The new diesel price will be Rs 389.93 per liter.

The new prices will be effective nationwide from August 4, 2026, and consumers can avail petroleum products at authorized pumps.

This decision aims to provide relief to the public and is expected to reduce inflation.

It is noteworthy that the previous petrol price was Rs 336.03, and high-speed diesel was Rs 392.38.
