Islamabad: (RightNow) The government has dismissed foreign media reports about Imran Khan as negative propaganda. According to the Ministry of Information, Imran Khan is imprisoned following court sentences.

The government has also denied allegations of solitary confinement, torture, or deprivation of basic facilities for Imran Khan. He is allowed visits, phone calls, and other amenities as per prison regulations.

The official statement mentions that Imran Khan is kept in a separate compound with adequate food and other facilities.

It is noteworthy that the government has also rejected claims of family visits. Over 900 individuals, including lawyers and political representatives, have met him during his imprisonment.

The government emphasized that foreign media should consider documented facts in future reporting and separate verified prison and medical records from political allegations.
