Islamabad: (RightNow). The government has requested names from all political parties for representation in the parliamentary investigation of the PIMS tragedy.

The National Assembly had passed a resolution to form a parliamentary committee. The government has taken this step to ensure the inclusion of all parties in the committee.

According to parliamentary sources, the notification for the committee will be issued once the names are received. Members of the committee will represent all parties.

It is important to note that a week ago, a fire in the neonatal ward of PIMS Hospital resulted in the death of 14 newborns.

In the investigation of the PIMS tragedy, 8 individuals were held responsible. The Prime Minister had approved criminal proceedings against them.
