Islamabad: (RightNow) The government has announced an increase in petroleum product prices. According to the Petroleum Division’s notification, the price of petrol per liter has been increased by Rs 1.08, bringing the new price to Rs 343.87.

The price of diesel has been increased by Rs 0.51 per liter, setting the new price at Rs 370.92.

According to the notification, these new prices are effective from September 2 and will be implemented immediately.

The increase in petroleum product prices will impose an additional financial burden on the public, with an expected rise in the prices of everyday goods.

It is noteworthy that yesterday, the price of petrol was increased by Rs 0.77 per liter, while the price of diesel was reduced by Rs 1.03, indicating a lack of price stability.
