Lahore: (RightNow) The Punjab government has provided relief to citizens by waiving birth and death registration fees.

Amendments have been made to the Birth and Death Rules 2025, under which late registration fees have been waived.

The free registration facility has been extended for an additional 3 years, as announced in the official gazette.

This initiative aims to provide financial relief to citizens, aiding in the timely completion of important legal documents.

It is noteworthy that the government had previously offered fee waivers to the public, which has now been further extended.
