Lahore: (RightNow) The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has established special units to combat anti-state propaganda. Cyber patrolling units are now active in every region to monitor cyberspace.

NCCIA spokesperson stated that Director General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi inspected reporting centers, police stations, and offices during his five-day visit to all circles in Punjab. He also met with over 500 complainants.

DG NCCIA instructed that complaint registration should be made more user-friendly. He emphasized utilizing all resources to provide timely justice to citizens.

He declared a zero-tolerance policy against fake news and anti-state propaganda, committing to no compromise on merit and transparency.

It is noteworthy that during the visit, pending cybercrime complaints, investigative branches, and administrative matters were reviewed. The DG directed officers to improve performance and resolve complaints promptly.
