Buttler reached this landmark with a single off Ishaan Malinga’s delivery. With this, he surpassed West Indies’ Kieron Pollard.

Buttler scored these runs in 528 matches with an average of 35.46 and a strike rate of 147.46. His record includes 9 centuries and 107 half-centuries.

This achievement further enhances Buttler’s importance in England’s cricket. He has become the highest run-scorer in T20 cricket.

It is noteworthy that Kieron Pollard scored 14,999 runs in 754 matches, while Alex Hales, Chris Gayle, and David Warner are also on this list.
