Lahore: (RightNow) National cricketer Mohammad Rizwan has submitted his response to the NCCIA questionnaire. He stated that he has not been informed about the specific online betting allegations against him.

Rizwan further mentioned in his response that he has always served the Pakistani team to the best of his ability. During the hearing, he repeatedly requested details of the allegations but was not provided with any clarification.

He emphasized that the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Anti-Corruption Unit is the relevant forum for addressing corruption issues in cricket. These allegations have not been reported to the ICC’s Anti-Corruption Unit.

Rizwan added that it is perplexing for the NCCIA to conduct an inquiry into such a case. He demands that full details of the allegations be provided so he can participate in the inquiry.

It is important to note that Mohammad Rizwan faces online betting allegations, which he denies. He insists that any allegations should be referred to the ICC’s Anti-Corruption Unit.
