Gold prices in Pakistan rise by Rs 7,000 per tola due to global market trends.
Karachi: (RightNow) Gold prices in Pakistan have seen a significant increase. After a 2-day decline, gold has become Rs 7,000 more expensive per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, 24-carat gold has reached Rs 457,236 per tola. The price of 10 grams of gold has also increased by Rs 6,776.
The global market has witnessed a $79 increase in gold prices, impacting local prices as well. Gold per ounce is now $4,347.
This rise is due to increased demand for gold in both local and global markets. Experts say investors prefer gold due to uncertainty in the global economic situation.
It is noteworthy that yesterday, gold prices had decreased by Rs 4,000, and 10 grams of gold became Rs 3,429 cheaper.
