Islamabad: (RightNow) The State Bank of Pakistan has achieved a net profit of Rs 1990 billion during the last fiscal year. This profit was earned for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.

The State Bank has released its financial statements and auditors’ report on its website. According to these statements, the State Bank has transferred an excess profit of Rs 1932 billion to the federal government under legal requirements.

Officials state that the State Bank has submitted these statements to the federal government and the Parliament in compliance with Section 40(3) of the State Bank of Pakistan Act 1956. This step aims to ensure financial transparency.

This profit will provide financial support to the government and positively impact the national economy. The profit transferred to the federal government will help reduce the budget deficit.

It is noteworthy that the State Bank of Pakistan oversees the national economy and implements monetary policies to ensure financial stability.
