Beijing: (RightNow) China urges the US to cease interfering in the selection of partners by sovereign states. This statement was made by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian during a daily press conference.

Recently, US officials accused Chinese technology companies of espionage and cyberattack threats. China has dismissed these allegations as fabricated and strongly rejected them.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated that US statements are technical bullying and distort facts. China has strongly opposed these statements.

The spokesperson added that the US should stop political manipulation and refrain from interfering in free choice. Such interference is detrimental to the stability of Latin America and the Caribbean.

It is noteworthy that China and the US have long-standing trade and political disputes, including in the technology sector.
