Tehran: (RightNow) Iran has initiated the process of setting key conditions to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Mohsen Rezaee, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, stated that mediator countries have asked Tehran to clarify its demands.

Rezaee mentioned in an interview that Iran is preparing a list of conditions. A major condition is the cessation of ongoing war and military tensions in the region.

According to him, the Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened without a ceasefire. If the blockade continues, Iran intends to target American economic interests.

Given the importance of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran and Oman have agreed on a temporary maritime corridor. This corridor will pass through the maritime boundaries of Oman and Iran.

It is important to note that the Strait of Hormuz is crucial for global trade, with a significant amount of oil being transported through it.
