Islamabad: (RightNow) The federal government has increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel. The new prices will be effective from August 22 to August 24, 2026.

The price of petrol has been raised by Rs 3.81 per liter. The new petrol price has increased from Rs 337.78 to Rs 341.59 per liter.

The price of high-speed diesel has increased by Rs 3.59 per liter. The new diesel price has risen from Rs 364.70 to Rs 368.29 per liter.

The prices of petroleum products have been determined under the revised pricing mechanism. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has set the new prices according to this mechanism.

It is important to note that the new prices will only be in effect from August 22 to August 24. After this period, the prices of petroleum products may be reassessed.
