UAE raises petrol and diesel prices, potentially impacting transport fares and public concerns.
Abu Dhabi: (RightNow) The United Arab Emirates has increased petroleum product prices. New prices for petrol and diesel for September 2026 have been announced.
Petrol prices have risen by 15 rupees per liter, and diesel by 38 rupees per liter. Super 98 petrol now costs 3.80 dirhams per liter, approximately 287 Pakistani rupees.
Special 95 petrol is priced at 3.69 dirhams, about 279 Pakistani rupees per liter. E Plus 91 petrol is 3.61 dirhams, roughly 273 Pakistani rupees per liter.
Diesel costs 4.30 dirhams, approximately 325 Pakistani rupees per liter. This increase will further escalate public issues and may raise transport fares.
It is noteworthy that global oil price fluctuations cause price changes in various countries.
