Barrister Gohar blames government for failed talks, criticizes federal interference in peace efforts.
Swat: (RightNow) PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar states that government stubbornness led to the failure of negotiations. The government showed no seriousness and agreed on nothing.
Barrister Gohar revealed that they suggested a meeting between the Prime Minister and the opposition leader. A unified strategy against terrorism was proposed for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Sindh, and Punjab.
He further added that if the government is sincere, it should arrange a meeting with the PTI founder. Despite sincere efforts, the government did not agree.
Barrister Gohar emphasized that their long march continues, and they remain peaceful. Peaceful protest is their right, and terrorism cannot be eradicated through emergency measures.
It is noteworthy that Barrister Gohar has demanded the federal government cease interference in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He stated that federal orders are hindering peace in the province.
