Islamabad Police dismisses 27 law officers as their temporary contracts conclude, aiming to enhance administrative efficiency.
Islamabad: (RightNow) Islamabad Police has dismissed 27 law officers from their positions. These officers were hired temporarily for 3 months at different times.
According to the notification, the employment period of these law officers was extended periodically. Their tenure lasted from April 1, 2023, to September 3, 2026.
The announcement stated that the dismissed law officers included retired SPs, DSPs, and ASIs from the police. Furthermore, their services have been terminated.
This step has been taken to improve administrative affairs within the police force. Officials say it will enhance discipline within the police.
It is noteworthy that similar measures have been taken in the past to implement reforms within the police force to improve performance.
