Peshawar: (RightNow) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa spokesperson, Shaukat Yousafzai, accuses the government of causing negotiation failures. He states that the deadlock created by the government could worsen the situation, holding them responsible.

Yousafzai emphasizes that the government should have shown flexibility to steer the country out of crisis. He claims the government lacks a strategy to address terrorism and economic challenges.

He further warns that imposing an emergency or governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa could deteriorate conditions. The country is burdened with debt, and the public is distressed, yet the rulers remain indifferent.

It is noted that two rounds of negotiations between the government and opposition, chaired by the National Assembly Speaker, ended without any outcome.

The PTI’s long march is set to begin today. The march will continue until the opposition’s demands are met.
