Islamabad: (RightNow) The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad has issued arrest warrants for PTI leaders, including Sohail Afridi, in connection with the November 26 protest. The warrants were issued by Judge Tahir Supra.
According to Express News, the hearing of the case related to the November 26 protest took place in the Anti-Terrorism Court. The court has instructed the police to present the charge sheet promptly.
The court has adjourned the hearing until October 9, and warrants have also been issued for Junaid Akbar and others.
This case pertains to the PTI protest, where legal action is being taken against various leaders. This is the second time the court has summoned these leaders regarding the November 26 protest.
It is noteworthy that during the PTI protest on November 26, some unpleasant incidents occurred, leading to the filing of a case.
