Lahore: (RightNow) Cricketers Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan have appeared before the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency. Both players have requested additional time to respond to the agency.

They were summoned by the agency in connection with the dressing room leaks case during the England series. The cricketers appeared at the NCCIA Lahore office and requested time to submit a written response.

Sources indicate that the PCB has handed over the cricketers’ mobile phones to the NCCIA. The phones will be unlocked, and the investigation into the dressing room leaks will proceed.

The PCB states that the inquiry is ongoing and no comments will be made. Social media reports are unfounded, and the public is advised to rely on official PCB statements.

It is noteworthy that the NCCIA had summoned both cricketers. The PCB had announced an internal inquiry into disciplinary breaches during the England tour.
