Islamabad: (RightNow) The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has raided an illegal call center, detaining 100 individuals.

According to the spokesperson, the detainees include 17 foreign nationals. This operation is part of an ongoing campaign against illegal activities.

The spokesperson further stated that evidence of unethical applications and financial schemes linked to India and Brazil was found at the call center.

NCCIA has sealed the call center and seized all data and gadgets. The agency announced continued action against illegal call centers nationwide.

It is noteworthy that previously, 250 foreign nationals were transferred to jail, and 50 Vietnamese citizens were deported.
