Islamabad: (RightNow) Arrests of PTI leaders continue as Islamabad police detain MNA Adil Bazai. This brings the total number of arrested assembly members from Islamabad to 6.
Among the arrested members are Mian Ahsan Jamal and Sanaullah Masti Khel. Additionally, Senator Saifullah Niazi, Ghaus Muhammad, and Dawar Kundi are detained under the MPO (Maintenance of Public Order).
PTI Azad Kashmir’s Senior Vice President Khawaja Farooq is also in custody. These arrests have complicated the situation further, raising concerns of unrest within the party.
The Lahore High Court will hear petitions today against the detention of Imran Khan’s sisters Aleema Khan, Noreen Niazi, and Uzma Khan. This case poses a legal challenge for the party.
It is noteworthy that PTI leaders are continuously protesting against government actions, with arrests ongoing in various cities.
