According to the Pakistan Army’s Public Relations Department (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir visited the Peshawar Corps Headquarters. He was briefed on the province’s security situation and operations. The Corps Commander Peshawar welcomed him.

The Army Chief received a briefing on Pakistan-Afghanistan border management and the operational readiness of formations. Information on counter-terrorism operations and border management was also provided. Field Marshal praised the morale of officers and soldiers.
