Islamabad: (RightNow) Federal police have decided to dig trenches to block protesters coming from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Islamabad. This measure aims to prevent political parties from staging protests in the capital.

Sources reveal that routes from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the federal capital have been surveyed. A strategy to dig trenches to stop the protesters heading towards Islamabad has been devised.

Trenches will be dug at GT Road, 26 Number Chungi, Pirwadhai, IGP Road, Aswal Mor, and Katti Pahari to halt protest convoys. Barriers will be erected on these highways, and containers will be filled with sandbags.

Around the Red Zone, containers filled with sandbags will be placed to block vehicle movement. Dozens of laborers have been employed to fill sandbags, and trolleys of sand have been ordered.

It is noteworthy that the Federal Minister of Information has stated that no violent group will reach Islamabad. The government, police, and administration are ensuring that roads remain open and free of any obstructions.
