Lahore: (RightNow) Under the direction of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, a decision has been made to expand school cricket across the country. The aim is to discover new national talent, and PCB has prepared a plan for this initiative.

The first opening match will be held between Beaconhouse and Aitchison College at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on Saturday. The match will start at 2 PM, and entry for spectators will be free.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony. Following the match, PCB has organized a musical concert featuring Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

This program is significant for the youth as it serves as a platform to discover new cricket talents. It will also enhance the passion for cricket among young people.

It is noteworthy that PCB initiated a talent hunt program last year as well, which helped many promising players gain national recognition.
