Lahore: (RightNow) Aqib Javed, Chairman of the National Cricket Team Selection Committee, has dismissed rumors of his resignation or dismissal as baseless. He stated that the news circulating about his resignation is merely speculation.

Aqib Javed declared all such reports as fake, emphasizing that he has no intention of resigning. This statement came after several sources hinted at significant changes within the PCB.

Reports are circulating about administrative changes in the PCB due to the cricket team’s poor performance, with Chairman Mohsin Naqvi at the helm. There were also mentions of Aqib Javed being removed from his position.

It is important to note that Aqib Javed has played a significant role in key decisions at the Pakistan Cricket Board. Besides being the Chairman of the Selection Committee, he also serves as the Director of High Performance.

It should be remembered that during the recent England tour, Aqib Javed faced criticism for the team’s performance. He was also accused of making changes in the coaching staff.
