Peshawar: (RightNow) Due to a petroleum crisis in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, both public and private educational institutions will remain closed on Friday and Saturday.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department has issued a two-day closure notification following the provincial cabinet’s directive. This decision pertains to the closure of educational institutions.
According to the notification, all public and private schools will be closed on Friday and Saturday. Educational activities will continue for the remaining five days.
The Education Department has stated that this decision will be effective for two months. The aim is to conserve fuel and reduce transportation difficulties.
It is important to note that this decision to close educational institutions during the petroleum crisis applies to all relevant institutions in the province.
