Islamabad: (RightNow) Authorities in Islamabad have decided to close weekly bazaars. The Metropolitan Corporation has taken this step due to violations of fire safety regulations.

The Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad has issued directives to keep the H-9, G-6, and G-10 bazaars closed. This decision was made because of non-compliance with fire safety laws.

The administration announced that the bazaars will remain closed on September 1, 2, 4, and 6. The closure is attributed to stallholders’ failure to adhere to fire safety guidelines.

H-9 bazaar vendors are allowed to operate at specific stalls. This permission is conditional on strict compliance with fire safety instructions.

It is important to note that fire safety laws aim to ensure public safety. Violations will result in action against the responsible stallholders.
