Hangu: (RightNow) Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, announces a long march towards Islamabad on August 27 with 4 million participants. He made this announcement while addressing participants of a street movement at Abu Bakr Siddique Chowk.

The Chief Minister stated that ignoring the court’s order regarding Imran Khan’s treatment is contempt of the judiciary. He mentioned that the government and administration have shown disregard for the constitution and law by ignoring the court’s decision.

Sohail Afridi emphasized that if courts do not hold powerful individuals accountable, they should not punish the oppressed. He stressed the need for equal laws for the weak and powerful, which is the aim of Imran Khan’s struggle for true freedom.

He highlighted that both farmers and industrialists in the country are distressed, and courts must decide the country’s direction. If the powerful are to be protected, they rebel against this decision.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had already announced a protest on August 27.
