Islamabad: (RightNow) PTI founder Imran Khan is transferred to PIMS Hospital due to security concerns. Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry stated this decision was made in consultation with administration and police.

Tariq Fazal Chaudhry explained on Geo News that if security agencies refuse responsibility, their decision is respected. He added that not bringing Dr. Faisal Sultan to the hospital is not a violation of the Supreme Court’s decision.

PTI Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram claims the government has disrespected the Supreme Court. PTI is preparing to file a contempt of court case. He mentioned PTI workers followed instructions to stay away from Shifa Hospital.

The government states that PTI workers caused security concerns on the route to Shifa Hospital. Consequently, Imran Khan was transferred to PIMS Hospital. The Information Minister said this step was to ensure security.

It is noteworthy that the Supreme Court had ordered Imran Khan to be taken to Shifa Hospital. However, the government stated that Shifa Hospital was their first choice, but alternative arrangements were necessary.
