Punjab upgrades IT labs in 110 Attock schools with a 300 million rupee investment to teach AI, freelancing, and robotics.
Attock: (RightNow) Punjab’s Minister of Education, Rana Sikandar Hayat, visited Attock and announced the upgrade of IT labs in 110 schools. During a local event, he distributed certificates and laptops to students.
Rana Sikandar Hayat stated that the labs will be upgraded at a cost of 300 million rupees. Students will receive education in artificial intelligence, freelancing, and robotics.
The Education Minister mentioned that Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, is striving for an educational revolution. Equal educational opportunities are being provided to underprivileged children in Punjab.
He further added that under the Learn and Earn program, students are being equipped with modern education and skills. Attock’s girls are outperforming boys in education.
It is noteworthy that in the past, 270 students shared one computer, but now one computer is available for every 10 students. Solar panels have also been installed in Attock’s schools.
