Muzaffarabad: (RightNow) Internet service has been fully restored in 4 districts and partially in 4 districts of Azad Kashmir on the orders of Prime Minister Iftikhar Gilani. This notification was issued by the Azad Kashmir Home Department.

According to the notification, internet service remains suspended in Sudhanoti and Rawalakot. However, in Muzaffarabad, Jhelum Valley, Bagh, and Kotli, internet service has been restored for educational institutions.

Complete internet restoration has been achieved in Mirpur, Bhimber, Haveli, and Neelum Valley. Leepa Valley also sees full restoration, while Sudhanoti and Rawalakot continue to face suspension.

It is noteworthy that on June 5, internet services were suspended in Rawalakot due to a long march by the banned Joint Public Action Committee. Prime Minister Iftikhar Gilani announced the restoration of internet services two days ago.

The internet suspension had affected businesses and government operations, causing difficulties for students and freelancers. Citizens have supported the partial restoration and demanded bill waivers.
