Lahore: (RightNow) The Punjab government has decided to recruit military personnel for monitoring educational institutions. The recruitment process has already commenced.

Military employees will be hired as Monitoring and Evaluation Officers (MEOs) in 22 districts of Punjab. These positions will be on a one-year contract, offering a salary of 60,000 rupees along with other benefits.

The personnel will be provided with government motorcycles, and the contract can be extended after one year. These recruitments will be conducted under the Punjab Education Foundation.

The age limit for the personnel is set between 30 to 55 years, and they must possess a domicile of Punjab. In the first phase, 28 Monitoring and Evaluation Officers will be recruited.

It is noteworthy that this initiative aims to enhance the monitoring of educational institutions to improve educational standards.
