Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will undertake an official visit to Saudi Arabia from August 6 to 8. He will be accompanied by Field Marshal Asim Munir and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, along with a high-level delegation.

Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andarabi stated that during this visit, a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will take place. Discussions will focus on the Middle East situation, including Gaza and the Red Sea issues.

The Pakistani government is making efforts to mediate in the Strait of Hormuz. Oman’s positive efforts have been appreciated, and it is hoped that the outcomes will be favorable.

It is important to note that Pakistan continues to work with Islamic countries for regional peace. Ishaq Dar participated in a meeting in Jordan regarding Jerusalem and invited the Iranian Foreign Minister to visit Pakistan.

Additionally, Pakistan and the United States are engaged in counter-terrorism talks. Pakistan has rejected the Indian Ministry of External Affairs’ statement on Kashmir, deeming it against the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.
