Istanbul: (RightNow) The first meeting of the strategic political and defense committee under the joint defense agreement between Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia will take place in Istanbul tomorrow. Officials from all three countries will participate.

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that the meeting will include Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, and Chief of General Staff General Selcuk Bayraktaroglu. This meeting is being held under the Mecca Defense Agreement.

According to a British news agency, the meeting will focus on strengthening regional security and defense capabilities. Officials from Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia will discuss increasing joint defense production.

Technology-related matters will also be discussed during this meeting. The Mecca Defense Agreement was signed by the three countries on August 7.
