Riyadh: (RightNow) A recent report reveals WhatsApp is the most used smartphone app in Saudi Arabia. According to the report, 94.4% of men and 90.4% of women use WhatsApp.
The report discloses that Snapchat is the second most popular app, used by 88.2% of women and 80.2% of men. Among women, it is the most popular app after WhatsApp.
This report was released by the Saudi Communications and Space Technology Commission, highlighting that TikTok and YouTube are also widely used.
The report states that 61.3% of Saudi internet users spend 7 or more hours online daily, while the use of computers and tablets is less common.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Internet 2025 report mentions the popularity of apps like WhatsApp, Snapchat, and YouTube, reflecting user preferences.
