Kyiv: (RightNow) UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham captured attention by playing guitar during his visit to war-torn Kyiv. He attended an allied nations meeting on Ukraine’s Independence Day, reaffirming the UK’s support. This marked his first foreign trip as Prime Minister.

During the visit, Andy Burnham played tunes on a guitar with a Ukrainian soldier in a soundproof van. He performed a melody by the British rock band The Smiths, stating that music boosts morale on the front lines.

The UK Prime Minister also visited a destroyed shopping center in Kyiv, affected by Russian attacks. There, he met with locals and took photographs.

In a meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky, Burnham assured continued UK support for Ukraine’s defense. Meanwhile, the Kremlin accused the UK of supplying missile technology to Ukraine.

It is noteworthy that the UK has played a significant role in the ongoing Ukraine-Russia conflict, providing military aid to Ukraine on several occasions.
