Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemns Houthi attacks and reaffirms solidarity with Saudi Arabia during a call with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. During the call, he condemned the Houthi militia attacks on Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea.
The Prime Minister stated that the Houthi attacks are unacceptable and pose a threat to international law and regional peace. He reiterated Pakistan’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the Pakistani nation stands firmly with the Saudi leadership. He expressed unwavering support for Saudi Arabia’s security and prosperity.
Shehbaz Sharif mentioned that Pakistan will continue to cooperate with Saudi Arabia and the international community for peace and stability. He indicated cooperation for the smooth flow of trade in the Red Sea and the Strait of Hormuz.
It is noteworthy that the Prime Minister expressed good wishes for King Salman, while the Saudi Crown Prince appreciated Pakistan’s support.
