Islamabad: (RightNow) The financial mechanism for the Petrol Relief Scheme is set to be finalized today. A significant meeting involving the Ministry of Energy, government officials, and stakeholders is scheduled.

The government and stakeholders will engage in crucial discussions on the Petrol Relief Scheme. The Ministry of Energy has sent invitations to relevant officials and stakeholders to participate in the meeting.

Petroleum dealers have also been included in the negotiations by the government. The meeting will see participation from State Bank Governor Jameel Ahmed, the Chairman of OGRA or their representatives, among other relevant officials.

The meeting will deliberate on the financial mechanism of the relief scheme and the payment procedures for petroleum dealers. Once the financial procedures are finalized, the method of providing petrol to citizens will be concluded.

It is noteworthy that the purpose of the Petrol Relief Scheme is to provide relief in petrol prices to citizens during this period of inflation. This scheme is considered significant by the government to facilitate the public.
