Pakistan increases petrol and diesel prices, raising travel costs and impacting essential goods.
Islamabad: (RightNow). The government has increased petrol and diesel prices. Petrol price rises by Rs 4.42 per liter, now costing Rs 380.24 per liter.
Diesel price increases by Rs 6.10 per liter, now set at Rs 409.42 per liter. The Petroleum Division has issued a notification that new prices are effective from September 15.
Following the price hike, petrol and diesel become more expensive nationwide. This will raise travel costs for citizens and impact essential goods prices.
The increase is due to global crude oil prices and other related factors. This will place an additional burden on citizens.
It is noteworthy that the government has raised petroleum product prices for the sixth consecutive time. This is due to changes in the global market.
