Islamabad: (RightNow) The Petroleum Dealers Association has expressed dissatisfaction with the Prime Minister’s fuel relief scheme. The association has raised questions about the current procedure and called an important meeting for the evening.

Petroleum dealers state that there are issues with the current method of checking invoices and verifying IDs for motorcyclists. They fear financial loss due to fake IDs.

According to the association, checking invoices for 35 to 50 motorcycles at one petrol pump is practically difficult. This process could lead to long queues at petrol pumps, causing customers to leave.

The spokesperson said dealers want changes in the fuel relief scheme’s procedure. The government should take immediate steps to resolve this issue and not involve dealers directly.

It is noteworthy that the fuel relief scheme aims to provide financial relief to the public. Due to concerns from petroleum dealers, the government needs to take prompt action.
