Riyadh: (RightNow) In the first quarter of the Umrah season, 15.2 million people performed Umrah. According to the General Authority for Statistics, the total number of Umrah pilgrims reached 15,233,767.

Statistics show that the number of domestic Umrah pilgrims was 9.5 million. Among them, men accounted for 56.4% while women made up 40.6%.

The General Authority for Statistics reported that Saudi pilgrims constituted 28.9% of the total. Further details have also been released regarding this.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the last date for issuing Umrah visas is March 9, 2027. The final date for pilgrims to enter Saudi Arabia is set for March 23, 2027.

It is noteworthy that during the Umrah season, millions of pilgrims from around the world travel to Saudi Arabia. This season traditionally begins in Rabi’ al-Awwal and continues until Ramadan.
