Islamabad: (RightNow). Imran Khan’s transfer from Adiala Jail to a private hospital has not been executed. Lawyer Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry indicates filing a contempt of court petition.

Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry announced that the government withdrew its review petition after objections to Imran Khan’s hospital transfer. Plans are underway to refile the petition soon.

The government decides to refile the petition with amendments. Amid uncertainty, Imran Khan’s legal team warns the government of potential contempt of court.

It is important to note that the Supreme Court ordered Imran Khan’s transfer to a hospital for treatment. The court order also allows medical examination and meetings.

Imran Khan is imprisoned in the Al-Qadir Trust and Toshakhana cases. The Supreme Court ordered his hospital transfer from August 5, 2023.
