Washington: (RightNow) Shield AI has developed the world’s first horizontal takeoff unmanned combat aircraft, XBAT. This advanced drone can take off from roads or fields without a traditional runway, enhancing its utility in combat operations.

XBAT measures 26 feet in length and 39 feet in width. It can be equipped with various types of missiles and bombs, and can fly up to 2 thousand miles on a single fuel tank.

Due to stealth technology and special materials, it remains undetectable by radar. Its powerful engine allows it to fly at high speeds.

Reports indicate that XBAT’s experimental phases have been successfully completed. It is expected to be handed over to the US Air Force in the next 6 to 7 months.

It is noteworthy that defense experts believe this advanced aircraft could play a crucial role in future aerial combat strategies.
