Karachi court acquits Anmol alias Pinky in three drug cases due to lack of evidence.
Karachi: (RightNow) A local court in Karachi has acquitted notorious drug dealer Anmol alias Pinky in three cases. The prosecution failed to present evidence during the hearing.
On Thursday, the Additional District and Sessions Court South heard the cases registered against Anmol at Gizri police station. Anmol’s lawyer, Anam Kausar, informed the court that co-accused had already been acquitted.
The defense lawyer argued that after the acquittal of co-accused, there was no possibility of conviction against Anmol. The court accepted Anmol’s acquittal requests in two more cases.
The court ordered that Anmol be released if not named in any other case. Anmol Pinky was arrested on May 12, 2026, in Karachi’s Garden area.
It is noteworthy that cases were filed against Anmol Pinky in 2020, 2021, and 2022 at Gizri police station. According to police, more than 16 cases are registered against her in various Karachi police stations.
